The product
How long before I see anything?
Shedding is where people look first, usually somewhere in weeks four to eight. The first short new hairs come closer to weeks eight to twelve. Weeks one to three look like nothing is happening, because a hair cycle takes about three months and no product speeds that up. Individual results vary.
What is actually in Rootline?
Adenosine and caffeine are the actives. Niacinamide, panthenol and allantoin support the scalp itself. Adenosine has randomised, double blind, placebo controlled trials behind it for hair thickness, including trials in women.

How many bottles do I need?
Three, if you want to know whether it works for you. One bottle is thirty days, which tells you whether you like using it and nothing else. If your shedding has been going on six months or more, six bottles is the more realistic answer.
Is this the same as minoxidil?
No. Minoxidil is a regulated drug. Rootline is a cosmetic scalp treatment and does not contain minoxidil, which also means we will not claim drug level results. Like any leave-on product it can irritate some scalps, so patch test behind the ear before your first full use.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Ask your doctor or midwife first and show them the ingredient list. We are not going to give a blanket yes without knowing your situation.
Will it make my hair greasy?
No. It is a lightweight water based treatment rather than an oil. It goes on the scalp rather than the lengths, and it absorbs.
I colour or heat style my hair. Is that a problem?
No. It goes on the scalp, not the lengths, and will not strip or shift colour. If a recent treatment left your scalp sensitive, let that settle first.
Do I need the Pulse Activator?
Not strictly, fingertips work. It spreads the treatment better than a tired evening's fingers do, and it makes the two minutes pleasant enough that you keep doing them. It is included free in the 90-Day Protocol and the 6-Month Reset.
When should I see a doctor instead?
If your hair is coming out in distinct round patches, if the shedding is sudden and severe, or if it comes with other symptoms. A doctor or dermatologist can check for causes that are treatable and that no cosmetic product addresses. Start there rather than with a bottle.
Orders, shipping and returns
How long does delivery take?
We pack within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery is 4 to 11 business days after that. Every order is tracked.
Why did my order arrive in two parcels?
Liquids and electronics travel on different shipping lines. If your kit includes both a treatment and a Pulse Activator, they may arrive a few days apart. Both have their own tracking number.
My tracking has not moved in days.
That is normal mid journey while a parcel moves between carriers. If it has not updated in seven days, email us with your order number and we will chase it.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 12 hours of placing it and we will do our best to catch it before processing. Once an order has entered processing or shipping, changes may no longer be possible.
What is your return policy?
Every order is covered for 30 days from the day it arrives. If it is not right for you, contact us within that window and we will review your request. Returns and refunds are subject to the condition of the order and the circumstances of the request.
